IMG will participate in HAI’22 and CORL’22 this December!
First, Kate Candon, PhD student at Yale, will be presenting a paper at HAI’22 on how people perceive helping behaviors from an agent in a fast-paced gaming scenario. The paper is entitled Perceptions of the Helpfulness of Unexpected Agent Assistance and was coauthored by Zoe Hsu, Yoony Kim, Jesse B. Chen, Nathan Tsoi, and M. Vázquez.
Second, Sarah Gillet, PhD student at KTH, will be presenting a paper at the “Aligning Robot Representations with Humans” Workshop at CORL’22. The paper is entitled “A Graph Neural Network Approach for Choosing Robot Addressees in Group Human-Robot Interactions” and is a collaboration between KTH and Yale researchers. The paper can be accessed through the workshop’s website.
Third, Debasmita Ghose, PhD student at Yale, will be presenting a paper at CORL’22 on how robots can tailor visual object representations to human requirements. This work was done in the context of facilitating recycling and is a collaboration between IMG and the Yale Social Robotics Lab. See the project website for more details.
