Welcome to the website of the Interactive Machines Group (IMG) in Yale’s Computer Science Department. Our group creates interactive computing technologies, especially for complex social environments.

About Our Group

Our work seeks to understand how to make interactive computing technologies that are meaningful, intuitive, and appropriate for users. We prototype systems for a variety of application domains in order to study fundamental problems in Human-Computer Interaction and Robotics.

IMG is an interdisciplinary research group led by Marynel Vázquez. Additional information about current research projects can be found here. An updated list of our publications is accessible through Google Scholar.
